What happens? A young lady abandoned by her mother finds a psychic and a cop to re-open the case 10 years later.  This all centers around the New England Elephant Sanctuary, and lots of amazing elephant stuff.
How long was this?
Did I like this? Very good story, great plot twist, wonderful to learn the world of elephants

What happens? An alternative history in which a flu wipes out the population and woman who can't reproduce are banished and / or considered witches
How long was this? 260 pages
Did I like this? Good story.  Characters to root for.

What happens? Katie has a baby at 2 am in the barn, and the baby is found hidden and dead.  Katie is tried for murder.  Ellie is burned out on corporate lawyering and takes on her case, and moves in with her as a bail condition.
How long was this? 405 pages
Did I like this? Exceptionally good book, including page 230.  Great plot, great characters.

Did I like this? Good story, well done, plot twists
