What happens? Mason is riding in a race and sees Barlow claiming to have been struck by Mitchell. Barlow turns up dead. Trent (convicted of a crime) is free as he has intimidated witnesses and jurors to recant. Trent turns up as the muscle threatening Mason - he must lose the case and Mitchell be convicted.

Did I like this? This is great, what I want from a Dick Francis book. horse action, criminals, imminent threats, romance.
